How do I transfer my guarantee to another accommodation?

You already have a guarantee and would like to move to another apartment while keeping your guarantee?

To transfer your guarantee from one accommodation to another, simply send us two documents.


Just send us an email to our address support@garantme.fr :

-  An email sent by your landlord directly to support@garantme.fr confirming the departure date or the inventory of fixtures of the accommodation that we guarantee for you.
-  The new contract for your accommodation

A transfer of your guarantee is a two times procedure : 

1 - Cancellation of your current guarantee as soon as we received a proof of your departure : an email sent by your landlord directly to support@garantme.fr confirming the departure date or the inventory of fixtures of the accommodation that we currently guarantee for you.Then, we will be able to proceed to a refund of your unused guarantee. The reimbursed amount is calculated pro rata temporis, with an application fee of € 70 deducted

Ex : I have a 12-month lease contract (1st November 2019 to 31st October 2020) with a rent of € 900/month. I have then paid € 486 (4,5% x € 900 x 12).

I leave my accommodation 6 months after the start date of my contract on 30th April 2020. I then stayed in this accommodation for 181 days.

Amount Reimbursed= (486 € x 181/365) - 70 € = 241.00€

2 - Creation of a new guarantee with your new lease project. You will receive a new payment link that will allow you to activate your new guarantee.
