The guarantee certificate is valid for the entire duration of your lease, but it needs to be renewed annually by paying the annual fees.
When renewing your guarantee, the guarantee agreement you received last year will be updated.
If your landlord asks you for your guarantee agreement, you should provide them with the same one as last year. However, if they want confirmation of your guarantee payment, you can show them the receipt you received when you paid your renewal fees. You will receive this receipt by email.
