The act of guarantee is valid for the entire duration of your lease but it is renewed each year by payment of the annual fees.
At the time of the renewal of your guarantee, your act of guarantee that you received last year is updated.
If your landlord asks you for your act of guarantee, you can provide him with the same one as last year. However, if he wants confirmation of your guarantee payment, you can show him the receipt you obtained when you paid your renewal fee.
